Our Infrastructure

Checkout what we've built. Our goal is to give back and create experiences for our camp and the community!

Each year we plan to expand our camp, both with interactivity and with infrastructure. Our goal long term if also greatly reduce our carbon footprint so if you have ideas or ways you can support us, please let us know!

Geodesic Domes

We have two geodesic domes which provide our primary experience to the community. Our goal is to transform our guests into another reality and into a world that is significantly different than the playa.

The first dome is similar to an Alice in Wonderland tea party. Here we serve tea in fine China and offer biscuits and treats. We have books regarding Lucid Dreaming and work to interact and make people feel welcome.  Play a game of chess or socialize with your tea.

If you want to go deeper, journey through the rabbit hole into our second dome. A 360-degree projection done that creates an immersive experience all around you.  With mattresses end to end on the floor, relax and transport yourself to different places and experiences worldwide.

Shade & Kitchen Area

A camp specific area (although we are community lovers and any space is community space) that is used by our camp as a kitchen and lounge.

In 2025, we increased this by 50% (again) and it works great for our size of camp (approx 40 members)

It includes lounge chairs, dining area and a kitchen.

The kitchen has a stove, BBQ and full sink with hot water. We also have camp garbage bins, please note this is for kitchen garbage and you are still responsible for your personal garbage removal)

We have water for our kitchen and showers which is usable but we still expect people to bring their own drinking water to live the core value of self-reliance.

This area is lit at night and we also have a propane firepit for nighttime.

Restroom & Shower

In 2023, we leveled up with the addition of a camp shower and restroom—and yes, there’s hot water! This year, we’ve streamlined the setup and brought the shower indoors, now located inside our shipping container for added comfort and privacy. Camp members will have access to hot showers, a bathroom sink, and an outhouse. As always, we ask everyone to keep showers short to help conserve water on playa. (In 2024 we moved the shower into a Shipping Container and also added a makeup station!)

Generator Power

A major benefit to our camp is the camp-wide generator we provide. We run daily from 10 am till midnight (till we shut down the domes) so that RV and Yurts can use the power to cool themselves. This will also be used to charge up batteries during the day as well and we have a battery bank to keep the entire common areas (kitchen, bathroom) lit up all night.

We can support 30-amp and 50-amp RVs.

Our long term plan is to move the majority of the camp to solar but this will take time.

Site Layout

This year, we have a none rectangular camp layout with 200' of street, facing, the man!

We have RVs along one side and the yurts across the other side. We use our containers as a shields for our kitchen/lounge area and place the two domes with bike racks along the front with our Art Car as well. We ensure we have an access road into the restrooms, kitchen/lounge and RVs.

Below is a mock-up which WILL CHANGE but is an approximate layout that we are building from.
